My MD3000i is at capacity for its hard drives and I have purchased an MD1200 to add to it.<br />

They are connected to two Dell R710 servers.<br />
<br />
I have very little experience with these devices and would like some help with how best to approach adding the new MD1200 drive.<br />

Can I do this &quot;Hot&quot;, without interrupting operation?<br />
<br />
Are there any pitfalls?<br />

Servers are computing devices that are similar to desktop computers in that they have the same basic components, but are significantly different in size, configuration and purpose.
