Help editing a file in photoshop
Hello,
I have a photoshop document that I would like to edit. It is saved as a photoshop. Is it easier to edit it this way or save as a jpg and edit then? Also, I'm having trouble starting the editing process. I basically want to remove some text and add new text into an existing document. Can you help?

Editing the Photoshop document will be your best bet - it will allow you to edit the text layer (assuming there is one in there), whereas if you edit a jpeg, there will be only one layer and any text will be part of the image and not editable.
To edit the text in the photoshop document, click on the text tool in the tools palette on the left (it is represented by a capital T). Now move the cursor over the text and if it is editable, you will see the cursor change when over the text. When the cursor changes, click on the text and you can start editing.

Thank you.....
Making sure the image is the RGB format type is something too often underestimated.
I have actually been laughed at be another "Expert" with 20 years P.s. Expertise after telling me he had never heard of such a situation.....
Glad to help...
