Will Office 2013 install into Windows 8 using clamshell.com to create Win 7 interface ?
Before replying and to get points for your answers you MUST first go to
https://www.experts-exchange.com/questions/28180088/How-to-convert-Win-8-Desktop-to-Win-7-look-alike-DT-wiuth-Start-button.html
and read the EE question (from me) and all the answers (there are many) that relate to clamshell.com which creates on Windows 8 PC and Windows 7 desktop (or very close) and a Windows 7 Start button AND an Windows 7 Start button menu (or close). First go to that link and review answers UNLESS you are fairly familiar with clamshell.com or you were a responder to the above link (closed EE question) and posted there about clamshell.com.
Here's my question. Note I fix PCs for a living; this is for a job starting at 3 PM EST tomorrow 7/18/13; so I neede replies BEFORE then.
Will Office 2013 from CD work with (i.e install into with no problems) into Windows 8 with Windows 7 interface etc from clamshell.com?
Hint if Offiuce 2013 works with Windoiw 7 the answer is YES. If Office 2013 requires at least Windows 8 will the Office 2013 CD be smart enoough to see the underlying OS is Windows 8 EVEN ATHOUGH the desktop looks like Windows 7?

Mike

joewinograd and other posters above (THANK YOU TO ALL)
Sorry I meant
http://www.classicshell.net/
(not clamshell.com).
Furthermore this is a new HP PC just purchased from Microcenter and running Windows 8. I will will give you 100 to 1 odds it is running 64 bit Windows 8 and (if it matters) 64 bit Office 2013 (from the Office 2013 DVD he paid for). The only people running 32 bit Windows 8 are those with old HW that does not support 64 bit OS and to help that small group of people MS also sells 32 bit Windows 8 if you pay to buy Windows 8 32 bit on DVD from MS. But all current PCs from ALL major manufacturers (Dell, HP, Sony, etc etc etc) provide Windows 8 64 bit and HW that supports 64 bit OS.
So given my comments here what is the answer to my questions. Confirm it is YES, no problem with 64 bit Win 8 and http://www.classicshell.net/ and then I choose the tab within Clamshell interface for Windows 7.
The reason I think it is YES is you say above
that "My experience is that Office 2013 installs fine into both W7 and W8, with both running Classic Shell. But two caveats for you: (1) both of my systems with Office 2013 are 64-bit..."
Nonetheless please confirm again.
Regards.
