Download a Google Apps mailbox to PST file
How do I download a Google Apps mailbox to pst?
We use Google Apps for Business and sync our emails to Outlook. I need to download the mailbox for one of my users, to a pst file (completely).
The reason why I need to download this mailbox is that I will need to delete the same mailbox from Google Servers. After deleting the mailbox, I will then recreate the same email address on Google Servers and then upload the previous contents from the downloaded pst file.
This should be all straightforward right? However, my last attempt to download the mailbox put all messages in only two folders - the Inbox folder and the Junk mail folder.
Some will start asking me "well why do you wanna delete the user's mailbox?" The mailbox has been plagued by problems for a couple weeks. Most important of which is that on some mornings, the user gets to work and Outlook doesn't send or receive emails for hours. Needless to say that I and Google techs have tried various ways to resolve this problem, yet to no avail.
