There are no Remote Desktop License Servers available

Hi There

I got a call from my client because they couldn't connect to their server using RDP, I also tried and get the following error:
"The remote session was disconnected because there are no Remote Desktop License Servers available to provide a license."
There is only 1 user currently connected to the server, nobody else can get on, lucky he is an administrator and I am currently controlling his machine.
We are running Windows Server 2012 with Remote Desktop services. When I run "RD License Diagnoser" it says everything is OK?
from other links I deleted the following registry entry to no avail "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\MSLicensing"

I know I installed licenses on this server, I also did the stuff below:

Local Computer Policy -> Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Remote Desktop Services -> Remote Desktop Session Host -> Licensing

"Use the specified RD license servers" = myservername

"Set the Remote Desktop licensing mode" = Per User

Can someone please help??

ASKER

Just to add the event logs are showing: Event ID: 1069
"The RD Licensing grace period has expired and licensing mode for the Remote Desktop Session Host Server has not been configured. Licensing mode must be configured for continuous operation"
