Hello,

I received this error today when I tried to set up an existing dfs replication group.

"error: 9098 a tombstoned content set deletion has been scheduled.  Event ID is 4004."

The only way I got around this was to create new folders on each of the replication partners and copy the data into the primary server.  After a few minutes, the data had replicated.  When I looked at the logs, the aforementioned error appeared for the original folder.  I was not sure if it was going to clear our or not.

This is on Server 2012.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
