Offline content in USB device not accessible
hi
recently i bought offline content of a web site - www.indiaplants.com, they sell it on a USB device; it isn't working on my system
the error message received is in the attached screenshot jpeg Tukai - error;
also attached is another error message i received when i inadvertently clicked on the exe twice, of it's of any help - D vault error.jpg
when contacted the company's reply was as follows -
The indiaplants.com offline version is a secure read only database. The problem with making it a writable one is that viruses and worms can get into it. For this reason it has to be run stand alone.
so i was asked to remove the usb hdd that contains all my working data, even then i keep getting the same message
the other USB devices connected are –
1. Logitech Mouse Performance MX & Keyboard K350 both connected on Logitech Unifying device connected through Belkin USB Hub
2. Creative USB Sound Card connected through Belkin USB Hub
3. Canon Printer connected through Dell Docking Station
4. The Belkin USB Hub connected through Dell Docking Station
I’m running it as an administrator; It still doesn’t work. Then I removed all of the above & used a Dell Bluetooth Mouse only but it still didn’t work.
The Antivirus installed is Quick Heal Total Security, disabling this as advised didn’t work as well.
could there be a workaround so that i could use it along with my usb hdd

Go to your task manager and kill the D-Vault Reader Process. Then reinsert the usb. In your task bar there is a little arrow where your usb devices are listed and can be administered. Throw out one of the indiaplants usb devices.

You ay want to 'Show Processes From All Users' to verify all processes are showing - perhaps it is hidden from this view.

The Expert Comments/ suggestions did not help in any way; it was my own trial & error that partially solved the issue
