Hi
Did you see the How to use under Step 2?
Here is a video how to perform a clean boot:
http://aka.ms/o1h3lc
Please start your computer in the clean mode and tell me if you see the error?
If you can't see the error. Uninstall SetPoint after install the latest SetPoint again:

I did the clean boot . and the same error message appeared after each time. I installed the latest version but it overwrites the existing setpoint. therefor there is nothing to uninstall. I already had the latest version. Thank you

You are agenius my friend. Logitech setpoint got fixed . But I have another question with regard to what I downloaded per your request on the C++ packages. There is 2008----2012 wound up with after the installation and running updates.Even though I had uninstalled everything like you told me. My question do I need to keep the 2005 and the 2008 versions or do I need to re-uninstall them again. Will there be any harm for them to stay. Thank you again for all your help Basem
