If I opt to not buy a replacement phone through my carrier (Sprint) and instead buy a replacement phone through a third party vendor, what search terms should I use on the web, "Sprint" or "CDMA"? 

Searching using the term "Sprint" seems prudent, but am I going to exclude a lot of functional options by narrowing my search to Sprint. 
On the flip side, "CDMA" may be too broad. As I understand it, the Sprint network may not be compatible with a Verizon-compatible phone, even though both are CDMA.
