Symantec Backup Exec 2010 R3 can no longer see Dell PowerVault 124T tape drive

Our backup solution includes Symantec Backup Exec 2010 R3 that is installed on our File server and the file server is diretcly connected to a DELL PowerVault 124T tape drive. For some reason something got out of whack with their communcation or reset so we can no longer back up to tape. I am not sure what happened, we have had some power fluctuations and UPS trouble, but as it stands right now when I go to start a backup job, it immediately fails and give me and error; FULL-BALCKUP - "The job failed with the following error: The operation failed to acquire the minimum number of drives and media needed."

If I navigate over to "DEVICES" in Backup Exec, I see the tape device online, but if I try to do a CLEAN the job attempts to start but sits in READY; No idel devices are available. If I browse over to MEDIA, I see TAPE - MEDIA SET under MEDIA SETS and in the box to the right of TAPE - MEDIA SET, I see several MEDIA LABELs, all of which say OVERWRITABLE and msot are blue as apposesd to black and have a red circle with a line though it, which I am assuming means they are scratch tapes.

I sign into the web interface of the tape drive and the STATUS shows as IDLE for AUTOLOADER and DRIVE. IF I look under error logs, I se the following errors though.

Nothing looks unusual on the physical tape drive and I have removed both drawers and it is full of LTO tapes. It is probably something simple to re associate the tape drive and backup exec, but I have not been able to find it. If I go to the CONTROL PANEL of the server I notice that the server can still see the tape drive.

All advice on this is welcome....thanks BTW I have rebooted the server and physically powered the tape drive off and on several times.

You do seem to have a number of errors!

Your last comment says you found the following error, but no error follows; can you repost, please?

How is the library connected to the server?
Have you tried rebooting the library?
Does the server show in Device Mangler that the library is connected (i.e., no question marks or exclamation points)?
Thanks for the replies....after a lot of research and effort it seems to go back to our licesne expiring for the tape unit. Now, each time I start a drive that uses the tape unit I get a licensing error, however I brought in a used Buffalo Linkstation and seem to be able to back up to disk without a problem. We already have quotes to renew our licenses. In the mean time, I will have to just make do with my used equipment I brought back to life
Renew licenses ?

I resell BE and once you buy it,there's no expiration for anything other than maintenance or major version upgrades.
