Issue with sync emails to blackberry account

Hi, hope you can hlep me in this matter.

We have active sync installed on our sbs2003 service pack 2 server.

We have exchange 2003

We have blackberry z10's

We set up the various handsets to sync emails with our exchange server, one of the handsets has stopped receiving emails for one of the email accounts (The person has several accounts being synced with our exchange server)

All other accounts are working fine as this account was until last week.

We have deleted the account from the handset and recreated the account several times but with no look.

There are old emails there but no new emails and also they way they look is different in that they look like text rather than links to open up the email and when you try to open them it does not work.

The OWA works fine as does the desktop outlook account

Any ideas please

We do not have BES installed we just use active sync
i'm surprised it all works without a BES server (but i haven't worked with the new series of handsets), but i would try wiping the handset fully and then reprogram your exchange accounts back in, you shouldn't lose any data from the server side.  You might need to check the handset has a copy of any security certs.

exchange 2003 is old technology and no longer supported (main support ended in April 09), it may be a limitation on the server as to how many old Active Sync connections/accounts it will support, being that its also part of SBS2003.

Use this link to verify your server config as you may also have an IIS issue -- https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/

Usually, when the Z10's we have stop syncing, all they have to do is go to the settings for the account and re-enter their password. I have found that with the mobile devices, includine iPhones, they do not always prompt for the password change, even if the users password expired. Although, we are also running BES 10, so I am not sure that would fix your problem.

ok thanks
so what was the solution/fix???
thanks Diverseit, just curious myself, haven moved away from Blackberry & BES servers earlier in the year.  All my stuff worked fine with BES 5 & Exch 2003, just not used the new v10 OS handsets.
Yeah I hear you...it's a total paradigm shift as far as the new BB infrastructure is concerned or more appropriately the lack thereof.
