Paypal adaptive chained payments

My question is regarding Paypal adaptive chained payments. Currently I'm working with a developer implementing paypal adaptive chained payments in a script. In our current scenario there is one sender(customer) a primary receiver and a secondary receiver. Can i make is so the shop vendor is the primary receiver and me the app owner as the secondary receiver and payment are split by everyone?- My developer tells me that the Primary receiver has to be the app owner and that the vendor has to be secondary receiver, is he correct - I need it to be the other way around. or is there another scenario that permits the vendor to be the primary receiver?

thank you angelleye. You are saying that me being the app owner can use my paypal developer email as the secondary email and use any other paypal email as the primary receiving email even though they are not app id and development account holders?

thank you

in other words the app id is being provided by me (the app owner) and I'm also secondary receiver. right?
Yes, that is what I tested. The secondary receiver on that sample request I gave you is the same PayPal account that was used for the app's API credentials.
