need help installing a private proxy

I'm trying to install a private proxy following the instruction I found in the pdf file I put  in my attachment.

I follow the exact instruction

cd /etc/apt/
apt-get update
apt-get install wget
rm sources.list
wget http://elite-proxy.net/install/sources/10/04/sources.list



 but when I reach the step where i put in the following command: wget http://elite-proxy.net/install/script/proxy.sh

I run into an error message that had to do authentication failed error 401 as I was using the putty software. here is what the error says more precisely

resolveing elite-proxy.net... 192.254.232.176
connecting to elite-proxy.net..|192.254.232.176.|:80...connected
HTTP request sent, awaiting response...401 Authorization Required
Authorization failed

I'm using ubuntu 10.04

I would like to know how do I solve this error so that i can continue with remaining steps in my ebook pdf... please help thanks ahead
