Exchange active sync just isn't working

Remote test is working as I should and has done/been.  I have an iPad and android tab that doesn't connect.
But an already configured play book is fine. My android s3 gets to the point where it wants to apply policies.

Memory is also low on my exchange server..

Ideas?

What version of Exchange are you running?

Are you using a 3rd party SSL certificate or self-issued?

Odd, the EMC shows first sync time and last policy update time of 17:42
But in my OWA it shows:
First sync:      27/08/2013 18:42
Last successful sync:      27/08/2013 19:10

Seems like this was related to a vmware/acronis snapshot issue we recently had.  Very odd things happening, but all ok now..

Thanks
