Exchange active sync just isn't working

Remote test is working as I should and has done/been.  I have an iPad and android tab that doesn't connect.
But an already configured play book is fine. My android s3 gets to the point where it wants to apply policies.

Memory is also low on my exchange server..

What version of Exchange are you running?

Are you using a 3rd party SSL certificate or self-issued?

ActiveSync is different for all platforms including  iOS and Android. Are you using the same ActiveSync Policyt for all devices? Are you getting errors? Do you have anything between Exchange and the devices like ISA or TMG or F5?
Exchange 2010 is designed to use up as much memory as needed.  It will reassign it if it is needed elsewhere.  How much memory do you have?  Are all roles contained in 1 server?  How many users?
Simplify Active Directory Administration

Administration of Active Directory does not have to be hard.  Too often what should be a simple task is made more difficult than it needs to be.The solution?  Hyena from SystemTools Software.  With ease-of-use as well as powerful importing and bulk updating capabilities.

edit: this morning i see i have my ipad enrolled as a device in OWA/EMC but it didn't sync last night..
Also got this from exchange regards my android:

Your phone won't be able to synchronize with the server via Exchange ActiveSync because of an access policy defined on the server.
Information about your mobile phone:
Device model:      Android
Device type:      Android
Device ID:      mdmxxandroidc920955460
Device OS:
Device user agent:      Android/4.0.3-EAS-1.3
Device IMEI:
Exchange ActiveSync version:      14.1
Device access state:      Blocked
Device access state reason:      Individual

Odd, the EMC shows first sync time and last policy update time of 17:42
But in my OWA it shows:
First sync:      27/08/2013 18:42
Last successful sync:      27/08/2013 19:10

Seems like this was related to a vmware/acronis snapshot issue we recently had.  Very odd things happening, but all ok now..
