Unable to access a network solutions email because of DNS

I have created an email address through Network Solutions for an existing domain, and this should be hosted from them. I believe I am not able to access it because of the way the DNS is configured for this domain. The DNS is hosted by rackspace, and I think this issue has something to do with the A record. How would I configure this mail site to be accessible?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You need to configure your A-Records on rackspace to point to Network Solutions records.

First contact network solutions and get all of your DNS settings (A-Records)

Then log in to Rackspace and input those settings in their configuration panel.
