Traffic Dump from the Local and the Internet side

Heyas,

I am having troubles uploading files to a Google Drive through our work network my computer is the only one that is affected by this. Anyway the network admin has asked me to get Traffic Dump from the Local and the Internet side, he has now gone home for the day and am unsure what he means by Traffic and how do I do this?. I saw a program called smartsniff that looks like it can capture packets from my side but how do I capture them from the internet side.

Thank you.

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi hellworld12345.  For the local side just write a bunch of 1s and 0s in a text document and email it to the network admin.  For the internet side dump he has to call google and get them to read it to him over the phone.

No, seriously, an internet side traffic dump isn't a real thing, or at least not the proper name for a real thing.  He might have meant the other side of your firewall.
