DFS failure and need to bring back online

hi,,had a dfs namespace server go down today and all users are working off other servers...question....when i bring back the server online...this will be a new server with no data on it...will all the files and folders from the other dfs servers transfer over to this one or will the blank data from this server transfer to the other servers....meaning will it delete the data off the other servers....any help is appreciated....

also if one server goes down for an hour and then comes back online does the most recent data replicate back to this server..??? thanks again for any help...

If the server is crasched you need to remove the instances of faulty server then add new server.

If data is huge refer this link.http://blogs.technet.com/b/askds/archive/2011/07/13/how-to-determine-the-minimum-staging-area-dfsr-needs-for-a-replicated-folder.aspx

Regarding  if one server goes down for an hour and then comes back online does the most recent data replicate back to this server. The answer is yes.
