I have been asked to setup security for a range of SSRS reports. These reports are going to be broken down into these groups:<br />
Financial<br />
Sales<br />
Purchasing<br />
Inventory<br />
Payroll<br />
Windows Authentication is going to be used but I need to limit access to each group of reports. My thoughts were to setup up these groups in active directory and then drop domain users into their groups. I would prefer people who are not a member of a group to not even see the report options for the other groups. What is the proper way to set up security in SSRS 2008 for this type of grouping?

SSRS competes with other business intelligence tools, most prominently Crystal Reports.
