Sending Errors to Event Viewer from Application_Error in global.asax

1. Are there any risks involved with creating events in windows event viewer from asp.net applications? For example, what if there is an infinite loop (by mistake) which creates this events in event viewer? Could  this overload the server, leave it without space?

2. How much can I customize the content of the error message?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

There is no risk with creating events and you can limit the log size from using too much disk space

You can Create a Custom View for the event viewer
You can create a filter that includes events from multiple event logs that satisfy specified criteria.
