NERO Vision Video Audio Adjustment

I use NERO VISION version 12 on my Windows 7 computer to compile video clips into DVD presentations.  A problem I've been having that I can't resolve - and unfortunately NERO's Help is terribly difficult to navigate and/or understand - is the need to balance the audio volume.   Several of my clips have different volume settings, and when I combine them into a project the resulting production has varied volumes that require me to have my hand on the volume throughout the production.  I figured that there must be some way to have the program equalize the volume across the production.

Please help.

Thanks,

Phil Simmons

As far as I know there is no normalize audio option in Nero Vision. What you can do is to adjust the volume of each video file separately in Nero Vision before burning the DVD. When you add a video file, in the "Edit Movie" screen, if you make double -click on the Video Track, the "Properties" window will open. Here you can adjust the volume for that video.

Do you have Nero WaveEditor?  I think it's a separate downloadable component in Nero 12 - (it was bundled in 11 and earlier).  You should be able to put the audio track of the combined files into it and normalize around an average dB value of your choice then reimport it into the mux.

Nero have a tutorial on normalizing audio here
