Manage Endpoint Clients on Kaspersky

Hello, I'm coming from a McAfee EPO environment to a Kaspersky Security Center and I'm having a little trouble locating the individual endpoint disabling. I'm running KSC 10 and Endpoint 10 and when I deploy the network agent and AV to a client computer I'm unable to disable scanning or rules on a single system. I used to use this on McAfee for troubleshooting an endpoint. The only way it appears I can do this with Kaspersky is by globally changing the policy. I've tried disabling the Self Defense and External Management, but it doesn't appear to be working.

I'm also curious as to pushing a policy update quickly. It appears that with Kaspersky after you make a policy change, you have to simply wait for the policy to take effect. Is there no way to refresh the policy quicker to an endpoint? Sorry for all the beginner questions, but I haven't been able to find much on the web. I've checked the Kaspersky webinar, but it's not specific to my questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I would suggest you to create multiple manage groups and enable policy on these manage groups rather then enabling on root level.
Just enable group tasks and policy on root level with are standard like new license or renewal. Application updates .

You can create tasks or policies on manage groups which are for administrative purpose like selective blocking , scanning etc.

You can also start / stop any task by going in to computer properties -> tasks and select specific task to start or stop.

Policies reinforce when ever you update the policy, to make the enforcement of policy on a selective computer you can do this by right click specific computer and run " force synchronization " it will forcefully synch the computer with Kaspersky server and refresh the polices.
