is it possible to set an out of office security Distribution list?

anyone know if it's possible to set an out of office exmaple@exmaple.com? it's a security group with an email address. Normally you can just do it through webmail but since it's a SG, it has no login password.

If you want to configure Out of office for a distribution group:

1- Right Click the ditribution group and click properties

2- click "advanced"

3- check "send out of office to the originator"

That check means that if someone sends a message to the group and one of the members has OOO set...the response will go back to the originator and not the entire group. The message that will be sent, will be whatever message the particular user has configured in his OOO

Hope it helps,

Out of Office is a setting for mailboxes only. A group cannot be out of office.
The closest you can get is either to have a mailbox which is a member of the group and set it with an Out of Office message, or on Exchange 2007 or higher configure a transport rule to reply with a certain message.

The above "answer" is about setting OOTO messages to be sent to the group and doesn't really answer your question at all.
