I am looking for a very simple tool that I can use for managing the IT Cost in our company and keep track of how cost is charged out to the business. I have a tight budget, so I am looking for a cheap, off-the-shelve product that is simple to use - and that can provide the business with an easy-to-understand expense report.

What are you using now to do your accounting with? How larger of a company do you have, 1 user and 1000? Assuming 3 to 5 users who will use your accounting Quickbooks Pro network edition is a good solution; for one user QuickBook Pro should do the trick. When you say workflow are you talking about job costing, project management, task completion it has these features but at a very basic level. I have several small business clients who use not for IT but for their overall business purchases and job tracking along with expenses per job.


Yes, need this for about 3 people to work on. Will check out Quickbooks Pro.
