Note that these options may not result in the best plan, but should result in a plan being generated more quickly, i.e., improved parse/compile time.

More generally, always specify schema names on all objects -- this can drastically reduce the need for SQL to check for possible different schema names, and can allow better sharing of plans, reducing parse/compile time because more users could automatically use the same plan.
