Set the columns you don't want to hidden.  Export to Excel.  You're wanting to script this or do it manually?

I don't follow you on this...

Can you explain what you are trying to achieve?  
What are the reasons for exporting to Excel in the first place.  
Why do you not just have another pivot table with only the columns you want with an Export to Excel button on the caption bar?

If I have a good idea what you're trying to achieve I can suggest how to get there.

bc the way they want the report in excel.. they want one sheet to be the pivot table and other sheets are summaries based on it
