Exchange 2013 & Outlook

Hi,

I installed exchange 2013 server, I configured outlook anywhere to use basic authentication.
The issue is everytime I open outlook it asks for the password before starting outlook, any idea how to solve it?

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi

Why you have chosen to use basic authentication? this way you order Outlook to ALWAYS ask for credentials. I recon on your workstations/laptops credentials are being cached, for this we use NTLM.

Basic authentication does not know the "remember my pwd" option, it is default!

At the beginning it seemed that the problem was solved, I added the user name and password to Windows Credentials Manager, but unfortunately it still exists, I don't if I can reopen this case.

Well, the thread is still here....

Am i assuming you still are using the basic authentication? Because, by default, i wont let you store the password since it is send in plain tekst like (i tried) to explain earlier.
