How to open recent solution in vb2012

When we click File >> Recent Projects and Solutions, we get the recent of "vbproj", not "sln".  How can we open a recent solution in vb 2012?

File > Open > Project/Solution

In the open dialog set filter on *.sln files then pick and open your solution.

You will then find your SLN file in your recent projects and solutions opened

Have you only been opening vbproj files recently? Try above approach to open a solution and then see if it appears in the recent list.

We open by going to the folder since SLN in "recent" are not displayed.

Yes we have opened solution and saved them but only see "vbproj".

Yet another PC it does display SLN.

Ok seems to work; had to open and modify in order to have it on the list (usually just by opening other MS apps displays it).
