Cisco 5500 Controller World Mode

I have a bunch of contractors here and they are trying to set up wireless units and they are asking me to enable world mode.  I have no idea what that even means let alone how to activate it.  can someone shed some light.  I've been searching the internet and so far nothing explains this.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

World mode is actually a Cisco implementation of the 802.11d protocol

Looks like you just need to have that protocol enabled

World mode is called DTPC mode on Cisco Wireless LAN controllers.

Only autonomous access points refer to Dynamic Transmit Power Control as 'World Mode'.

On the WLC go to:

Wireless -> 802.11a/n (or 802.11b/g/n) -> Network

Check the 'DTPC Support' check-box.
