VMware Data Recovery - how to enable jumbo frames?

I searched the web but I can't find info on how to enable jumbo frames in VMware Data Recovery 2.  I have it enabled on our network, on the hosts, and on our NFS NAS.  the Windows VMs all work correctly and I can ping with a large packet size, so I know that it is working everywhere.  I just can't figure out how to activate it in VDR?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I have done all that and jumbo is working fine on the hosts and in the Windows VMs.  I do not know how to activate it in VMware Data Recovery 2 and I can find no documentation to see if it is already activated by default in Data Recovery 2.

As VDR2 appliance is based on Centos.

Edit /etc/sysconfig/network-script/ifcfg-eth0

Add a line that says :

MTU=9014

or you packet size, using for jumbo frame.

So if we have everything set for 9000 I should use that instead of 9014?

yes, jumbo frames are defined as any frame size above 1500.

So if you have set all other equipment to 9000, use that value.

we just use 9014 at one of our clients to match switches!
