If formula based on conditional formatting colour in cell b2

Hi Experts (excel 2003)

Need a formula in cell c2 if the colour in cell b2 is green then text in white font colour and return no comment in cell c2

other wise if cell b2 is red then comment in cell c2 = check...

Can't use a formula to base a condition of cell color.  I don't know how to do it, but you need to use VBA to do this.

As you are determining the colour by conditional formatting (based on previous question) you can use the same comparison to determine the result of the test.

Formula on ABC sheet won't actually need sheet reference, ABC!$A$2 would just be $A$2 and Apples!$A$2 has range name so could just be CheckCell:
