Buying an expired domain

Dear experts!

if a domain name is in a redemption period and expired on 1st July 2013, when can I buy it over?

Whats the best way to ensure I can get the domain name. Thanks.

There is no way to 'ensure' that you can get that domain name.  I believe that Wild West Domains is a Godaddy company and right now they own that domain name.  You just have to go to Godaddy and see what they want for it and put in a bid for it.

i agree with padas
you can back order and they will notify you once its available
they do lock the domains for sometime for business purposes
once it left it for a while and it was available after 6 months :)
