iMac - Multiple screens - any native options or Matrox only options

If we want to have an iMac with three screens, what is the best way of acheiving this.

Note we want the screen to be sctretced so mouse can move across all three (not mirrored)

Is this the best / only solution:

It will depend on the iMac model you have but the newer iMacs can support 2 external screens.
See this video about someone using Thunderbolt and a USB to support 2 screens

The Matrox device is more expensive and probably fractionally better in terms of performance but costs more.

Either way you can run 2 screens from an iMac.
