Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server ...

Failed to generate a user instance of SQL Server due to a failure in starting the process for the user instance.

I get this error when I test the connection (see the attached screen shot).

I have done this in another computer successfully.

Question: What changes I need to apply to either VS2010 or SQL 2008 SP3 to eliminate this error?

Thank you.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I haven't figured out yet. But this is the connection string I have:

Data Source=.\SQLEXPRESS;AttachDbFilename="C:\Users\Mike\Documents\__smc\_CS 32 ADO\WSCGSoftwareDatabase\WSCGSoftware.mdf";Integrated Security=True;Connect Timeout=30;User Instance=True
