UL dropdown menu intermittently fails on ONE page

OY. This is driving me nuts. I know I'm hacking this together, but this still seems weird...

So, here's the page with issues:
http://sullivanandco.com/wr-test/the-wr-blog/

The two menu items with drop-downs ("Who We Are" and "Insights and News") will occasionally close when you roll off the menu onto the drop-down, as if there's a gap. But not always. And on EVERY OTHER PAGE, they're fine.

...any ideas? THANKS!

PS -- yes, I'm using a homemade custom WP theme. But it still seems like if I broke something, I'd have broken EVERY page...

Hi amateur6,

I have a simple solution for you. In your webpage "the-wr-blog.htm", you have a line of code that reads like so:
	<!-- for some reason this template needs to me moved up 5px -->
		<div style="position: relative; top: -5px; left: 216px; width: 400px;">

Open in new window

I don't know what reason you would have for needing to adjust it up the -5px, but that is what is hosing your menu. If you change that top: -5px to read top: 0px like so:
	<!-- for some reason this template needs to me moved up 5px -->
		<div style="position: relative; top: 0px; left: 216px; width: 400px;">

Open in new window

you will find your menu works just as good as your other page "wr-test.htm" and I have a feeling any other pages that are having the menu problem will have a similar issue with that div positioning. It's because it hits that part of the page before it reads the drop down menu and it disappears as if you had run your mouse down further off of the sub menu and onto that image of the page. Let me know if you have any trouble fixing other pages with that same menu issue.

Thanks,
Dewmec

Dewmec, you're a genius indeed! That did it. And no, I have no idea why I thought that div needed to be moved up at some point, but at least I commented it!

So thanks very much!
