Is it possible to enable Visual studio 2005 XP Visual Styles in windows 7.

I cannot get the 3D effects such as in the Binding Navigator in Windows XP to duplicate in windows 7 - the binding navigator tool is washed out flat with no borders...

I have updated with the required patch for visual studio 2005 and the patch for vista...

Thanks in advance!

The graphical environment of Windows has completely changed starting in Vista. Although some controls seem to continue to react to the command, visual styles are no longer supported.

According to the documentation, and no matter the version of the framework (http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/system.windows.forms.application.enablevisualstyles(v=vs.80).aspx):

Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional x64 Edition, Windows Server 2003 Platform Note: Visual styles are only supported on these platforms.
