Difference between IBM XIV and EMC Clarion

One of my Customer has SAP in their environment .Customer has wanted to know whether IBM XIV or EmC clarion would right fit for their environment. I have to provide a presentation where I have to provide right choice with details.

Please let me know advantage and disadvantage for both the product?

For SAP, your customer would be better served with EMC VNX (the VNX has replaced the CLARiiON) rather than the XIV.

 - its a good overview of the XIV and how it works.

The VNX array can use flash drives to ensure very high performance for applications like SAP, and using techniques such as storage pools,  traditional RAID groups and QoS , you can make sure that the performance of your critical workloads isn't affected by other stuff running on the array. Capacity  Volume management
Performance  I/O
Availability and Reliability
Data protection features
IT staff and resources available
Budget concerns
Data Replication
