how create a DVD compilation

Hello I've created a movie with pinnacle 15 some scenes and a menu to jump to a the scenes.
I made a DVD disk , and when I try In my Pc it works fine.

Latter when I burn in the DVD I use NERO 10 and I do a DVD Video and I add to the VIDEO_TS folder all the files in the project:
VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS.VOB
VTS_01_0.BUP
VTS_01_0.IFO
VTS_01_0.VOB
VTS_01_1.VOB
VTS_01_2.VOB
VTS_01_3.VOB
VTS_01_4.VOB
But when I try to play the disk burned in the DVD player doesn't run. it 's a new sony DVD player.
the same disk If I play in my windows 7 pro, run correctly.

Thanks

Um I'll expain it.
Use a DVD-R they are the best for DVD Video for your TV DVD player, burn at speeds x4 or x8 as written on your blank  DVD platter
Did you finalise it from Pinnacle?
If it doesnt work in you're TV DVD player
Did you use a DVD-R or DVD+R?
I use DVD-R
Did you select DVD Video or High def or SVCD or something else other than DVD ?
Not everything may work on your Sony DVD player other than DVD+R and DVD Video
they are not as good dvd players as we have on our computers.

Pinnacle Studio: How To Set Up the Make Disc Settings
Pinnacle Studio include: VCD, DVD, S-VCD, Blu-ray and HD DVD. You need to have the correct burner in your computer in order to utilize all of the disc formats. You can burn VCD and S-VCD discs in a CD or DVD burner, DVD discs in a DVD or HD DVD burner, HD DVD discs in an HD DVD burner, and Blu-ray discs in a Blu-ray burner.

DVD authoring with Pinnacle 14 and 15 youtube video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hhvU3WxQeSo
The files from Pinnacle may or may not work but here's the process
Open Nero Smart Start open VIDEO-Photo
>> Nero burning rom
Nero Burnign romSelect DVD Video.
 DVD Video Newthen choose NEW>
in the new you'll see two Folders, VIDEO_TS use only that one.
Now since your using a new VIDEO_TS folder you mustnt include the one you have already
or you'll burn a VIDEO_TS folder with another VIDEO_TS folder inside making it unreadable on your Sony.

drag all your vobs and ifo bup files only ( donot incude the Vido_ts folder)
drag in to the NEW VIDEO_TS
only contents of your HDD Video _TS foldercheck the settings finalised is ticked, PAL or NTSC ?
I use pal in Australia
then click burn make sure it set ticked to finalise disc.
The AUDIO_TS is blank by default

You can also use windows live moviemaker
http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/18003/turn-photos-and-home-videos-into-movies-with-windows-live-movie-maker/
using all your original images to create a wonderful movie with effects and transitions then with windows DVD maker included with your windows 7 author it to a DVD Video.Burns a DVD Video.
Windows DVD maker makes perfect DVD video but only use the main movie vobs from Pinnacle you wont need the IFO or bup files as you'll simply re-auther it,
rename the selective vobs to .mpeg usually about 4 of them are the main video movie, put your folder on to details to see the 4 largest.
copy them out and rename the extension to name.mpeg
rename the extension to mpegLook in your start menue all programs~> for DVD maker
