It seems to happen after the the third slide is reached for the first time - the first slide then has the overlayed text after that, like the third slide is not removed in some way.<br />

I note that the three divs you are using for the slides have different naming conventions. The script mentions containers throughout the comments and two of your divs have the word 'container' in their id, but the first one has the id Div1.<br />

I'm wondering if the script requires the three divs to have the word container in their id, i.e. container, container1 and container2, to work properly? Just a thought, but I'm not sure why that would mean that it would work properly in IE but not chrome.
