how to instantiate a form class object in asp.net

This is a beginners question for asp.net.

I understand some object oriented concepts in another language, php.

form class
contains button method
and many properties of button such as color, size, shape, border-thickness

but how is the object instantiated

or how is the class called?

is an object created to call a class?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

That is a lot of unneeded information. You don't need the nuts and bolts in order to use the button. If you want you can drill down into the form

In Asp.net we use web forms (inherits from System.Web.UI.Page) to hold the web controls.

For a simple intro go to "Quick Start :To ASP.NET" section of link below:

Regarding buttons you can use the asp.net button or the html input button with css to work with the style.
