"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Use Task Scheduler
1. Trigger (choose your time)
2. Action  - Start a program and choose your MP3 or similar audio file

Do some testing and schedule your songs

I have 2 laptops.

1. windows vista 32 bit
2. windows 7 -64 bit.

Also i have android smart phone.

Any of them i can use. If i use laptop cvan i make it to sleep after playing the song so that laptop need not have to work all 24 hours all days. Please advise

You can use the laptop with Vista
Its going to be a 2 step process
first you have disable the Hibernate mode and  secondly use the following command in task scheduler to get your system into sleep
Rundll32.exe Powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState Sleep
