Veeam Appliance

Does veeam now have an appliance for vmware that will work with vmware essentials, i.e. the cut down version with different or no API's?

Thanks

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Most third party VMware Backup products use the "Snapshot Method" to backup VMs, to ensure they are consistent, including Veeam.

You just need to add VMware Administration - Check for Snapshots to your daily VMware Admin List.

All editions of Veeam Backup don't support free ESXi due to VMware restrictions in Data Protection APIs. The minimum supported level of the VMware license is vSphere Essentials.
