App / Tool to Quit Specified Apps During Gaming then Relaunch Afterwards

Hey Guys-

Real shot in the dark here, but wanted to possibly save some time scripting.  I have a few PCs at home, but one of them is much more powerful than the others.  Typically, it's on 24/7 and I use it to host numerous things such as:
- Video Straming (Plex, AirVideo, PlayOn)
- File Sharing (Dropbox, ownCloud (client), FTP Server)
- System Stuff (PC Monitor, AV, DyDNS Updater, etc...)

It also is my gaming PC, though, as it has much more juice than the other PCs and a great video card.  I've found when playing a some games, they freeze sometimes.  Logs szeem to show it's when some of these background apps poll their local folders / files for changes.

Just wondering if anyone knew of an app which would list all running apps (inc background ones), and allow me to create lists of apps to quit / exit then batch re-open post gaming.

I could create a script, but just wanted to check as I was curious.
