Error you have shared it very generic error and occurs when application pool crashes, stopped or hang.

Refer event viewer to get why application pool do recycle. It could be memory leak, buffer overflow in code or misconfiguration of application pool.

Hi there,

503 Error – Service Unavailable is typically caused by your application crashing or hanging the Application Pool (AppPool).

When this happens, I would start by checking IIS Management and verifying that your appPool is STARTED when the error is present. If not, then it is an application crash issue you would need to diagnose via errors in eventlogs, try/catch exceptions or the more complicated approach to use IIS debug Tools and decode the stack if you have the debug runtime code.

Hope it helps,
