Network Manager

My Dear Experts,

I have migrated my Exchange 2007 SP3 into Exchange Server 2010 and moved all Mailboxes to the new platform and now i'm uninstalling the mailbox role server but I have to delete the Public folder from it keeping into your consideration that I have created a new Public folder in the New Exchange 2010 and configured all databases with it.

now when i'm deleting the public folder using Powershell 2007, I am getting that error

[PS] C:\Windows\system32>Remove-PublicFolderDatabase -Identity "Mailsrv\publicfo
Remove-PublicFolderDatabase : The public folder database "MAILSRV\PublicFolderS
G\PublicFolder" contains folder replicas. Before deleting the public folder dat
abase, remove the folders or move the replicas to another public folder databas

   Folder:ADObjectId) [Remove-PublicFolderDatabase], InvalidOperationExceptio
    + FullyQualifiedErrorId : 77B8D273,Microsoft.Exchange.Management.SystemCon

how can I move the replica that is mentioned in error and how to check it's moved already.

I wish not to use ADSI.edit, I want to delete normally from EMC or powershell.

Best Regards,

@Network Manager

I never ever tried before Exchange 2007 SP3 into Exchange Server 2010. But I found some   link which make easy to understand this migration process : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd335126(v=exchg.141).aspx

Find here Updated Rollups for Exchange 2007 & Exchange 2010

I already did the upgrade, now I need to delete the Public folder from Exchange Server 2007 to uninstall it

this is the point

So you can remove by following commands

Remove-PublicFolderDatabase -Identity "<server>\<storage group>\<public folder database>"

Simon Butler (Sembee)ConsultantCommented:
You need to use the move all replica script to move everything from the old server to the new one.
You will find this in the Scripts directory on the Exchange 2007 server.

You will only be able to remove the public folder database when get-publicfolderstatistics returns nothing.
