Windows XP application Installaion Error
Hi
I am trying to install applications on a newly installed Windows XP service Pack 1. However whenever i try to install applications & software i get a message saying "spinstall.exe is not valid WIN32 application, what does this mean & how do I fix this problem?

Does that happen with a specific software you are trying to install? If yes, please post software name and version. Thank you.
Upgrade XP to Sp3 to so you have all the Microsoft fixes.

XP installed without SP - how do we install SP1,2 and 3? pls send hyperlinks to download the .exe
