Date Modified

I have windows vista laptop. In the folder structure I went to --->view--->details.

I see DateTaken, Name, Tags, Size, Rating etc.

I could not see Date Modified.

I always love to sort the files based on the 'Last Modified Date' which comes by default on my other windows 7 laptop but not on this windows vista laptop. How do i enable it.  I wonder why it is not straight forward, default in vista.

Please advise. Any ideas, sample code, resources highly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
