windows 8 boot error.
I buy an Asus PC, once it was installed I made a recover disk in a 16GB pen drive.
After some weeks in others hands When I use the laptop I feel it very slow.
I try to recover it with the Pendrive, I start pressing F9, select recover Complete PC, and after several minutes I get the error "enabled to recover".
Now without pendrive when I try to star the windows 8, the PC is in a loop, star "trying" to recover, ask me for language and keyboard type and after a time reboot, starting "trying" to recover.
I don't know windows 8,
Can I boot in safe mode? how?
Where can I find a basic manual for Windows 8 for maintenance.
Thanks

How long did you wait with "trying to recover"?
ASKER
it's a loop.
After a minute it's ask me about language and keyboard. and then after several minutes reboot and do the same.

Could you try reinstalling from the original DVD? I know, it's a :-(.

thas is the problem It's an Asus Laptop and when I buy didn't came with disk, I made a recover pendrive but doesn't work or I don't know how to use it...
Do you have the Product Key?
ASKER
In the Laptop button is a small tag with the letter Windows 8 and a barcode but I don't know If It will be valid for reinstall with a windows 8 disk.
Did you look in the battery compartment?
I believe the Product Key may not be user accessible. It's embedded in the BIOS.
Usually, when one pops in the Windows 8 DVD and boots, it automatically gets the key from the BIOS.
