Outlook 2010 Application Hanging

We have had one user having frequent Outlook crashes now for many weeks.  We even replaced her hardware and the problem of Outlook crashes/hangs is still present.  The error below was found on the old laptop.  Not sure if it is informative of the new system.  But as we're at a loss - could somone explain what is likely causing the condition seen below?  Thank you!  We use Exchange 2007.

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

TO me this looks as if it may be add in related

Have them close outlook and re-open using
Start>Run>Outlook.exe /safe

See if it happens here
If it doesn't, we can then look in the registry to see whats causing it

Have you already tried Office 2010 repair on the machine?

We ran Windows in safe mode and ran outlook that way.  Do you think the Outlook.exe /safe would be different?

Simplify Active Directory Administration

Administration of Active Directory does not have to be hard.  Too often what should be a simple task is made more difficult than it needs to be.The solution?  Hyena from SystemTools Software.  With ease-of-use as well as powerful importing and bulk updating capabilities.

No wont be the same

You need to open outlook, with Windows running in normal Mode

Then open only outlook itself in safe mode

aadihCommented:
Yes. It's run from normal Windows mode (not safe mode) where only outlook is opened in the safe mode.

So it turns out that the outlook.exe /safe was run earlier in the troubleshooting process.  But there were still hang problems.  :-(

Repair also?

"outlook.exe /safe was run earlier in the troubleshooting process"

Did you actually have them try this again?
Or is this just going by what was said?

Actually hang on  a second.....

At the top the Title of the Issue is: Outlook 2010 Application Hanging

Now in the error detail I see Office15 Folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Office\Office15\OUTLOOK.EXE

This is not usually where outlook 2010 would be installed

Can you verify the version of outlook being used?

Does this user have Outlook 2010 or 2013 installed?
Do they have both office 2010 and 2013 installed?
Do they possibly have a mix of office suites, such as Word 2010 and Outlook 2013.

Or Perhaps they Installed Office/Outlook 2013.
Didn't like it and are trying to go back to using Outlook 2010?

The jury is still out.  We tried a number of different things and stability has improved somewhat.  But need a few more days to see if anything's really been effective.

Sorry I can not provide more specifics on the resolution of the issue.  I was asking for someone else who was working the problem and was running into dead ends.  I can say that safe mode execution and running repair were part of the process to making things better.  But I could not get more details about just what of the upteen things tried in all was *the* bullet.  Thank you much for the suggestions.
