moving from sp1 to sp2 or sp3

to upgrade the service pack 1 on SQL R2,

1)will it need reboot?
2) go to SP3, do I have to go to SP2 and then to SP3 or can SP3 be installed right away?

a reboot is not mandatory, but a "best practice".
You can go straight to SP3
