We are looking at repairing a Samsung S4 for ourselves and potentially for others if we can figure out a cost efficient way to do it. From the way it looks now, there are basically two ways to go about repairing any phone. You can either replace just the glass with an 80% success rate, or you can replace the whole LCD assembly.
Beyond that, we understand zero about how to do this and the prices here http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw=S4+assembly&LH_BIN=1&_sop=15&_osacat=0&_from=R40&_trksid=p2045573.m570.l1313.TR0.TRC0.Xsamsung+S4+assembly&_nkw=samsung+S4+assembly&_sacat=0
appear to be all over the map from about $50 for the whole assembly to many in the $200 range.
Assistance in finding the right solution is greatly appreciated.
